While most binding machines use plastic coils, combs or wire, Unibind machines use a steel channel with adhesive for permanent binding. This type of binding is known as thermal binding. Unibind machines create smooth and edgy covers for reports or books. Using a Unibind machine requires little preparation or upkeep time for binding purposes. Unibind Machines are easy to use; just place documents into a Unibind spine and place it on a heat plate to activate the glue. Once the green light is on, put the papers on the cooling plate to finish the process.
